I know this came out last year, but I still wanted to write about it. I have to disagree with a few of the choices. My biggest disagreement would have to be Robert Pattinson. I’m sorry to all of the Robert Pattinson fans, but I do not think he is deserving of the number one spot. To me, he isn’t very good looking. I’m not saying he’s butt ugly, but like I said, he doesn’t deserve the number one spot. My next biggest disagreement would be Xavier Samuel. I think that he should have been spot number five. My next biggest disagreement would have to Justin Bieber. My issue with him is his age. I mean, is he even legal? If he isn’t legal, then how the hell did he get on the list? Anyway, my last disagreement would have to be Gerard Butler and Channing Tatum. I’m sorry, but I don’t think that they deserve to be on the hot list. Personally, I think that there are better looking guys out there than the guys that I mentioned.
With the Alice In Wonderland DVD coming out soon, it made me think about Mallymkun the Dormouse. Mallymkun the Dormouse kinda reminds me of Reepicheep from the Chronicles of Narnia in the sense that the both are loyal and talking mice. In the case of Mallymkun, she’s very loyal to Alice and the Mad Hatter. With Reepicheep, he’s loyal to the Pevensies and Caspian. Anyway, I just thought it was interesting.
I recently watched The Princess Bride and obviously saw the fight between the Dread Pirate Roberts and Inigo Montoya on the Cliffs of Insanity. Anyway, you’re probably wondering how it relates to the fight between Alice and the Jabberwock from Tim Burton’s Alice In Wonderland. Well, as I was watching The Princess Bride, it dawned on me that the two fights were similar. I say that because both fights start off on a flat surface, then goes up to a set of stairs, and then ends with the winner back on the ground. Anyway, that’s just what I think.
I rewatched Tim Burton’s Alice In Wonderland last Saturday to help write a school paper. Anyway, I saw this the first time I saw Alice In Wonderland but it didn’t dawn on me until the second time I watched. Have you guys noticed that the way that the jabberwocky came forward was very similar to the way that Chernabog from Fantasia woke up? To be quite honest, I’m not surprised by that because Disney was involved with both movies.
On the 13th, I went to see Tim Burton’s Alice In Wonderland as a kill-two-birds-with-one-stone thing. Anyway, as I was watching the movie, I was thinking to myself that Mia Wasikowska reminded me of someone. When I thought about it more, it dawned on me that Mia reminded me of a young Gwyneth Paltrow. I say that because they’re both skinny, blonde, and pale. Anyway that’s just what I think.
I was Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street the other day and that made me think. I noticed that quite a bit of the movie musicals from nowadays are usually seen in the past. Take Sweeney Todd for example. It was set during the 1800s. Hairspray is the same way. It was set during the early 1960s. There’s also Chicago, Moulin Rouge!, The Phantom of the Opera, etc. I think that’s part of the reason as to why they’re appealing. I don’t know why, but that’s just what I think.
