The Charlie Chaplin Illusion

I found this video through my cognitive psychology class. I find it interesting that even though we know that it’s the inside of a mask, we still think that the nose is sticking out. Anyway, enjoy the video.

The Season 6 Finale of Bones

I am actually speechless at the finale of season six of Bones. Do not read the rest of this post if you haven’t watched the episode: it contains spoilers. I had a sneaky suspicion that Bones and Booth actually hooked up. And to top it off, Bones is pregnant with Booth’s baby. You know, as I thought about last week’s episode, I thought to myself, ‘How weird would it be if Bones ended up pregnant just like in Booth’s coma dream?’ And what happens? Bones becomes pregnant. Now it’s a matter of what happens next. I mean, will Booth propose to Bones? Are they going to just date? Is Bones going to keep the baby? If Bones keeps the baby, how involved will Booth be? Well, I guess we’ll have to wait and see season seven to find out. Anyway, I’m glad that Angela finally had the baby. I gotta admit, all of the scenes dealing with Angela and Hodgins were funny. I also thought the fact that they gave the baby the name Vincent as a middle name was touching. What a nice way to honor Vincent Nigel-Murray. The only thing that I wish was a little different would be if the baby had turned out to be blind. It would have made for an interesting subplot. Either way, I’m still glad that Angela had the baby.

Last Night’s Episode of Bones

Wow! What can I say about last night’s episode of Bones? There are three things about last night episode that I want to talk about. Number one: Mr. Nigel-Murray’s death. I honestly can’t believe that they killed him off. I really liked him. I wish they would have killed off Fisher instead. I mean, there wouldn’t have been loss if it was Fisher. But then, the emotional impact wouldn’t be there. Anyway, I’m going to miss Mr. Nigel-Murray and him spouting out facts. The next thing I want to talk about is what actually happened between Booth and Brennan. I mean, did they actually do it? Or did Booth just comfort Brennan? Personally, I think they finally hooked up. The reason that I think that is because of the clock that was in Booth’s room. Did anyone else happen to notice the time that was shown? It showed the time as 4:47, the same time that was shown in season 4’s finale where Booth had the coma dream where he and Brennan were married. That’s the reason: the time that was shown on the clock. Anyway, they better clear it up before the season ends by telling us one way or the other. The last thing is Broadsky being shot. I think that Booth should have killed Broadsky. But then, I don’t think that Booth would have done it. He’s the type of guy who wants justice done legally, not like how Broadsky did.

Outrageous Kid Parties

I saw the previews to the show Outrageous Kid Parties, and I’m appalled by it. I mean, I can understand having blowout for the major birthdays like the first, the 16th, 18th, 21st, etc. But having a big blowout, like shown in the previews, for the second, third, fourth, etc., birthdays? I think it’s ridiculous to spend that kind of money for a relatively meaningless birthday. The only exception, in my opinion, would be if the child wasn’t expected to live for as long as he or she has.

Osama Bin Laden’s Death

Last night, I found out about Osama Bin Laden’s death, like the rest of the world did. I have mixed feelings about this. On one hand, I’m glad that he’s dead. It’s the end of the long search for Bin Laden. On the other hand, I wouldn’t wish the death of anyone, even someone as evil as Osama Bin Laden.
