You know, every day, I check out my wordpress account to see what the statistics are. And what I find interesting is that my Angel Perino post has consistently been the top post since she was on Holly’s show, Holly’s World, which premiered on December 6th of last year. I think what is is that people want to read or see anything they can on Angel. Anyway, I still find her voice to be annoying.

Ok, I know this is coming out late but what can I do? There were the holidays and I recently started a new semester. Anyway, wow, I know I said this before in previous posts, but 2009 was a really bad year for celebrities. If it wasn’t one celebrity who dropped dead, it was another one who did. Anyway, I honestly can’t believe that Brittany Murphy died. She was so young. It’s just like Heath Ledger all over again. Now, not to sound mean to Brittany Murphy fans, but I’m not totally surprised that drugs were involved in her death. Anyway, yeah. 2009 really was a bad year for celebrity deaths.
I watched the fourth episode of Project Runway last week and all I can say is that I was happy that Jesus was eliminated. I’m sorry but his taste level was just bad. And like Michael said, taste can’t be learned. Although, I gotta admit though, his sewing skills were pretty good. Anyway, I’m glad that he’s gone. He was in the bottom three a total of three times. And considering that he was in four challenges, that’s pretty bad. You know, honestly, if he hadn’t been eliminated, I would have been pissed. He could have been like another Christopher. Anyway, that’s just what I think.
When I watched last week’s episode of Project Runway, I was ecstatic that Ping was auf’d. I’m sorry to any Ping fans but I had a feeling that she wasn’t going to last very long on the show. Anyway, the reason I say that was of her aesthetic. Now, I don’t have a problem with the whole flowy, drapy aesthetic in general, but to me, it seemed like that’s all that Ping ever did. It was just like Rami from season 4. Although Rami was a tad bit better in terms of diversity. Anyway, now, as for the whole spiel with Jesse, that was just nuts. While I think that Jesse could have been a bit more diplomatic about his opinions, I think that he was somewhat justified. I mean, Ping couldn’t really pin down a specific idea for the main outifit, let alone for the second outfit. Based on what I’ve seen from the first three episodes, Ping’s style of working didn’t really seem to gel for a competition like Project Runway.
When I was watching the first two episodes of this season of Project Runway, I noticed that Maya Luz looks a lot like Mila Kunis from That 70’s Show. Honestly, if I didn’t know any better, I would have asked what Mila Kunis doing as a designer on Project Runway. To me, they could pass for sisters, if not cousins. Anyway, that’s just what I think.
About two weeks ago, I watched the second episode for season 7 of Project Runway and I was not happy about the fact that Pamela was eliminated over the fact that her outfit wasn’t flattering. Personally, I would have eliminated Jesus because he completely missed the whole point of the challenge. The challenge was to turn the potato sack into an outfit that could be worn to an industry party, not use it as a base outfit with a sh**load of embellishment on top of it. It reminded me of Epperson from season 6 and the whole wedding dress challenge. Anyway, the reason that I would have eliminated Jesus is because I would rather see a design that was unflattering but met the challenge requirements than a design that flattering but didn’t meet the requirements.
